Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Record Rack ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Record Rack is a music player application designed for playing personal music files stored in iCloud Drive. The App is intended for music that you own or have the legal right to play, such as:
- Music ripped from CDs you own
- Legally purchased and downloaded music files
- Music you have created
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the legal right to play all music files you add to the App
- Complying with all applicable copyright laws
- Maintaining the security of your iCloud account
- Backing up your music files
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App to:
- Play pirated or illegally obtained music
- Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) protections
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Subscriptions
Record Rack offers a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription for full access. Subscription details:
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and code, is the intellectual property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or music files
- Device malfunctions
- iCloud sync issues
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws.
